: ANDzyme Bacterial Sensors
ANDzymes are synthetic fluorescent probes engineered to detect the presence of their target ligand. They are RNA-cleaving DNAzymes that cleave a proprietary chimeric DNA/RNA substrate upon activation in the presence of target. At InnovoGENE Biosciences, we have isolated several ANDzymes through in vitro selection that target a wide range of pathogenic bacteria. These ANDzymes are robust, sensitive, and are easy-to-use. They are designed to be used as a 'mix-and-read' fluorescent assay with little manipulation and handling.
